"Statute Of Limitations" When I had the AHS Mustang Alumni site up and running I had several folks email me and confess some "crimes" they had committed during their HS days..... like who stole the Police car and hid it in the swimming pool.... and who actually lit the bonfire before the 1957 Homecoming game with Kermit. Maybe there are some of you who would like to get the slate clean and come forward and explain some of the old "unsolved mystery's" of yesteryear. The statute of limitations have run out on most of you so you don't have to worry about Floyd Peacock or Bud Gregory rounding you up and throwing you in jail. Share with those of us who have "inquiring minds" and maybe we can get a prize going for the best confession. Sammy Lee AHS Class of 1969
P.S. I do have one of my own but I ain't tellin before someone else does.
Okay, I'll fess up - I did write an English paper for Dale Allen just before class. It was just a one page assignment. He came to me and said, "Man, I need a theme for English and I don't have one."
So being the nice guy that I was, I quickly wrote one for him. He turned it in with his name at the top and got an A+ for it. I turned mine in and I got an A- !
Needless to say, I never helped anyone with their homework after that. I surely did want to tell Mrs. Brown that it was my talent and not Dale's. But then we would have both gotten a big fat "0".
Now I don't think the limitations have passed with all my High School "activities".
Oh no: I think I may have some information about that police car. For years my older brother Kelly Armstrong (Class of "66), bragged about that incident. I really never believed him because I had never heard about it from anyone else.
Hmmmm.......there are rewards for this kind of information right?
No confessions but how do I get that "extra" profile deleted? I've always thought I had a dual personality, but this is ridiculous!
Now, I want to know who wrote Mrs. Brown's chalkboard full of the political names of the Presidential candidates in '68 whom Mrs. Brown did not support. She called it "asinine" and I had never heard that word in my life. Someone had to tell me what it meant. Gordon, was that you and Steve Smith?
And as for that "slumber party" that we had before
Baccalaureate, I'm telling no tales!
